Everyone is welcome in the progressive Stuart community.

Capture a picture of the past with a visit to the White Horse Museum located just of Highway 20 on the south end of Main Street.

The extensive museum displays are housed in a large three-story home built in 1913 as well as a log cabin, summer wash house, one room school, blacksmith’s shop and machinery building located on the museum grounds.

The museum collections donated from area residents have made it possible to create a vivid picture of this area over the years.

A featured display includes unique relics from the famous White Horse Ranch which hosted performances and traveled across the United States with a troupe of approximately 24 pure white trained horses and riders throughout the 1940s and 1950s.

The heart of our growing business district is within a few blocks north of Highway 20.

The Stuart City Park, located at the north end of Main Street offers complete camping facilities with restrooms, water and electrical hookups.

A picnic and playground area with wading pool and tennis courts offers a relaxing break along with summer evening ball games and Sunday evening Stock Car Races.

Stuart is the place for lots of fun times during the Annual 4th of July Celebration complete with parade, picnics and games in the park for all ages, rodeo, entertainment and evening Stock Car Races followed by a wonderful fireworks display.

The first weekend in August the Stuart Park Arena hosts the Sandhills National Livestock Show.
