Thousands of people enjoy the park each year when Ainsworth hosts the National Country Music Festival the second weekend of August.

While you’re in town, stop at the Sellors-Barton Museum, north on Main Street, by the historic water fountain in the Court House Park; or the Coleman House.

Other annual events hosted by Ainsworth are the Middle of Nowhere Days, Sand Hills Discovery Conference, K-Bar Bike Ride, and horseshoe tournaments.
In December, Ainsworth becomes the Christmas City of the Sand Hills and presents an annual Christmas Pageant the first Sunday of the month with a “Parade of Christmas Trees” displayed at the Chamber Office on Main Street.
