Brunswick Nebraska was formerly as “Clera Springs”, Brunswick is located in the heart of corn producing country.
Brunswick was founded in 1879. A large share of the early settlers being natives of Germany caused the name Brunswick to be selected. According to another source, a local beet grower named the town after Brunswick, Germany, which was also a center of beet production.
