Lewis and Clark SRA offers campers Full Hookup, Electric Plus, Electric, Basic and Equestrian Lewis and Clark has over 150 campsites with electricity and more than 100 Basic campsites. Campgrounds include showers, picnic tables, fire ring/grills, nearby drinking water spigots (not hookups), dump and fill stations and playground. Camping is available year-round with electricity however dump and fill stations, modern shower and bathroom facilities operate from April-October, weather permitting.
Camping reservations are available for half of the campsites in Weigand and Burbach campgrounds and can be made up to 180 days in advance. All other camping is all first-come, first-served and campers register their nightly camping fees in a raised, locked box called an Iron Ranger. Self-service envelopes are provided at each Iron Ranger station. Check or cash only. Iron Rangers are generally located near the park entrance or in the campground area. On-site camping informational signs are provided to help guide campers with the self-registration process.
An equestrian camping area with corrals is also located in the south shore area. Water is available but no electricity.
